During the seventh meeting of the seventh term of the University of Kurdistan’s Tenure and Promotion Committee, the academic promotion of three faculty members was formally approved.

Promotion of Three Faculty Members Approved at the Seventh Session of the University of Kurdistan’s Tenure and Promotion Committee

According to the University of Kurdistan Public Relations office, the session was convened on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, under the chairmanship of the University President and in the presence of committee members at the President's Office. Following a comprehensive review of the submitted academic dossiers, the committee approved the promotion of the following faculty members:

A) Promotion from Associate Professor to Professor:

  1. Dr. Mahmoud Koushesh-Saba; Faculty member of the Department of Horticultural Sciences and Engineering – Physiology.

  2. Dr. Mohammad Fathi; Faculty member of the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Telecommunication Engineering.

B) Promotion from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor:
3. Dr. Fatemeh Daneshfar; Faculty member of the Department of Computer Engineering – Computer Systems Architecture.
