In an official statement, the University of Kurdistan extended its congratulations on the election of Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei as the third Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The text of the statement is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Expressing once again our profound condolences on the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei (may his soul be sanctified), as well as the commanders, soldiers, and innocent citizens of our nation during the Ramadan War, we offer our congratulations on the distinguished election of Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei as the third Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Undoubtedly, the era ahead shall mark a new chapter in the flourishing of Islamic Iran—a chapter that, under the aegis of mutual trust between the leadership and the nation and through the dedicated resolve of the elite, discerning youth, and committed administrators, will further illuminate the path toward excellence and self-reliance.

We pray to the Almighty for the longevity and dignity of the Leadership and for continued success in preserving the unity and grandeur of the Iranian nation, as well as the pride and glory of our beloved homeland under his wise guidance.
