In fulfillment of its social responsibility and to forge a connection with the next generation, the University of Kurdistan hosted twelfth-grade students from Andisheh Model Public High School of Kamyaran. During this scientific tour, students gained a firsthand look at the academic environment, diverse fields of study, and the university's facilities.

University of Kurdistan Hosts Future Leaders: A Scientific Tour for High School Students to Explore the Academic World

According to the Public Relations Office of the University of Kurdistan, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, the university welcomed a group of humanities students from the school. The program, coordinated by the university's Office of Community and Industry Relations, was designed to familiarize students with the university setting and assist them in making informed decisions about their future fields of study.

A Tour of the Provincial Hub for Humanities and Social Sciences
The tour began with a visit to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, where the head of the faculty's education department welcomed the students and provided an overview of the academic programs, career prospects, and the distinguished standing of the University of Kurdistan. A subsequent visit to the Mamosta Hejar Central Library offered students an opportunity to explore the rich collection of scientific resources and learn about the research services available to university students.

From Specialized Research to Art and Architecture
A highlight of the visit was the stop at the Kurdistan Studies Research Institute. Dr. Binandeh, a researcher at the center, delivered a comprehensive presentation on research related to the region's history, culture, and language, which was met with great interest and curiosity from the students. The tour continued with visits to the Faculty of Language and Literature and the Faculty of Art and Architecture.

A Lasting Memory with the Sound of Music
One of the most engaging parts of the visit was the time spent in the music department of the Faculty of Art. Here, performance majors created a vibrant and memorable atmosphere by performing several live musical pieces for the high school students. The one-day program concluded with commemorative photos on the university campus, leaving the students with a broader perspective and renewed motivation to enter the world of higher education.
